Alexandre Monnier
Before dedicating myself to healing full-time, I followed a different professional journey. After earning a master’s degree from ESSCA Business School and the University of Northumbria, I worked in strategic consulting. Though financially rewarding, it lacked meaning. I later pivoted to study music technology, leading to a successful career in audio engineering, where I covered major events like the London Olympics, the BBC Proms, and worked with bands and artists like Gregory Porter, Jamiroquai and Amy Winehouse.
During all those years, I was quietly practicing a form of energy healing. I didn’t know what to call it—it came naturally, and the results were often astonishing. For nearly a decade, I treated family, friends, and those who sought me out, without ever promoting it.
Everything changed during the pandemic. The lockdowns gave me time to reflect. As the music industry paused, so did my business. With encouragement from people close to me—especially a dear friend and mentor, Brian Isbell, Director of the Westminster Polyclinic—I finally embraced what had been quietly developing for years.
Brian had recognised my ability as early as 2002, but I had dismissed it due to my Cartesian upbringing. As he once told me, “It’s very good to receive (healing)—but if you have the ability to give, you really should think about it...”
So I chose to develop this ability with formal Reiki training in Paris and London, and now dedicate my life to healing. Today, I work in London and Paris, offering sessions in clinics, privately, and pro bono in collaboration with charities and the NHS.
Whether you're new to Reiki or already familiar with energy work, I welcome you into a safe and supportive environment—where healing begins with presence, intention, and connection.
Hello, my name is Alex. Originally from Paris, I now live in London, where I’ve been offering Reiki treatments for over 14 years.
Though I was formally trained in traditional Usui Reiki by Japanese and French teachers, I initially discovered this gift through intuitive, hands-on energy work years before I knew what Reiki was. Over time, this deep natural connection to energy healing grew stronger, later supported by professional training and a commitment to helping others heal.
I hold the title of Reiki Master Teacher, am fully insured, and have also studied anatomy, physiology, and massage techniques to complement my practice. My approach blends intuitive sensitivity with scientific understanding, offering each client a space of peace, trust, and transformation.
Over the past 30 years, my path has gradually led me to practice biofield therapy. Even before I formally entered the healing profession, I was exploring the boundaries of physical and spiritual experience through practices like Vipassana meditation, Shotokan karate, Qi Gong, Tai Chi, and free-diving.
